The Weeknd’s second collaboration with Bape sees new red and black camouflage print streetwear.
Grammy Award-winning artist The Weeknd is passionate about fashion and has collaborated with other notable streetwear brands in the past. He is also has expressed a love of militaristic street fashion in the past.
His last birthday party was jungle-themed where he and Bella Hadid wore head to toe jungle camouflage.
The Weeknd has been involved in an array collabs with street fashion brands throughout his storied career.
He first teamed up with Tokyo-based powerhouse streetwear brand A Bathing Ape, to create a capsule collection in 2018.
This second collaboration, the BAPE x XO collection has been presented in a lookbook shot with Abel, Derek Wise, XO's La Mar Taylor and Metro Boomin'.
The capsule features tracksuits, camo-patterned sweatpants, hoodies, denim jackets, multiple graphic T-shirts and BAPESTA windbreakers.
Branding is bold with an emblazoned 'XO' And 'Bape' and the controversial slogan "Til We Overdose" on some.
Highlights are the sweatpants and hoodie featuring a unique camo made exclusively for this XO collaboration and also featuring the popular shark motif.
